The following is a story of a bank robbery, a heroine and a love story. The bank is located in Iuka, Marion County, Illinois and was originally named Holtslaw Bank, once owned by Daniel Wilshire Holstlaw. Daniel was a first cousin, once removed of Margaret Holtsclaw Booth, my 3-g-grandmother. The people in the story were Daniel's son Herschel. The teller, Lois, was Herschel's wife, and Mildred Kelley was Daniel's granddaughter and the daughter of Daniel's daughter, Florence. Source: “A Stroll Thru Time 1867-1992 Iuka, Illinois”, pg. 55
