Jehu was born May 09, 1819 in North Carolina, the youngest son of Isaac Teague and Amy Rebecca Lawler. He married Frances Ann Fuller in 1844 in Henderson County, Tennessee, she was born in 1825 . Jehu died on June 12, 1909 in Lamar County, Texas in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Frances died January 05, 1891 in Henderson County, Tennessee.
Jehu and Frances had seven children: 1. Amanda Jane Teague; b. 1845; d. 1908 2. Serina Adline Teague; b. 1847; d. 1916 3. Isaac Warren Teague; b. 1849; d. 1932 4. Samantha Alice Teague; b. 1855; d. 1919 5. Mary Frances Teague; b. April 03, 1855; d. August 12, 1934 6. Sarah Elizabeth Teague; b. 1858; d. 1940. 7. Amy Rebbecca Teague; b. October 06, 1863; d. February 06, 1940
Jehu was a farmer and on 16 Jan 1867, Jehu was appointed the postmaster for Juno, Tennessee.
