​(1798 - 1870)
Isaac Neely Brown was born in 1800 in Washington County, Kentucky. He was the son of Alfred John Brown, Jr. and Nancy Neely. Isaac married Elizabeth "Betsy" Staton on October 27, 1818 in Green County Kentucky.   It was witnessed by William Arthur, who would become  father-in-law of Isaac and Betsy's son James later.  Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas R. and Hannah Staton and was born in Virginia in 1798.
