Like most genealogists, I have tried to trace and document all of our family lines as far back as I can. Thankfully, I have been able to find other researchers for each line to collaborate with. One family line, the Booths, have been able to be traced back to the original immigrant Thomas Booth of Virginia.

But since the records show that the Booths were from England, that raises questions like Did we descend from royalty? Were any of my ancestors famous? Did they make a difference in their world? Were they honorable or were they thieves or murderers? Why do we always like to be related to outlaws many generations removed but not an outlaw in our own generation?

I have not started to research family outside of the United States except Russia. So when a distant cousin shared her website, Ancestral Threads, and her research with me I was extremely grateful. Chris answered questions I had about the Booth family's ancestry back to the 1200’s. It included stories of knights, royalty, rebellions, and assassinations. She included documents and the thing I love best, pictures!

If you are a member of the Booth family or just need help in researching your family, I strongly recommend you contact Chris to obtain her Booth Family Album. Her contact information is:
