Richard Phillips took and submitted the 2 photographs above of Mary's gravesite. Richard is a descendant of Marion A. Orman and Martha Lavina Pollock. Her father is believed to be William Pollock, son of John Pollock and Mary "Polly" Norton. He states that her stone was down and broken into pieces, the bottom half was turned upside down and the best he could make out of the words are:
she gone she's left this world of ----------- God who call her to join in Praising him above
she gone she left this world of to the regains of eternal love
Richard says that she is buried by a big tree and it its very pretty there, there is a lake in the hollow by the cemetery. It is on a big hill. This hill is like a mountain for Mississipi.
